sarahsoda was created out of my love for spontaneous design. i am a one woman show based out of chicago, il and focus on truly unique handmade items.

i began my business with beaded hand-woven jewelry and with the help of my grandma, i learned to knit.

i am fascinated by color and texture and begin each item with some vague idea of the finished product but things change along the way and i let each piece create itself.
